Life is pretty damn good right now. I now have extra free time to spend with my family and friends. Although this summer is going to be crazy busy with Advanced Med-Surg, it doesn’t mean my summer won’t be crazy fun. So far I’m looking forward to many San Diego trips, Vegas in June and August, San Fransisco in July and every little nook and cranny in between. 8 months til graduation!! Which should be come summer next year i’ll be in Europe. Once again thanks to my family, my friends and my boyfriend for being nothing short of amazing. leggo!

Memory lane has sure got a hold of me lately. Mostly good. But then I come across one little object that brings a bag full of memories attached to it. Usually I block it out of my mind and my heart, but I was curious as to what type of damage it could do, so I let it in. Bad idea. It’s a bit bittersweet. Although I miss that part of my life, I know I could never get it back, nor do I want it as a whole anyway. In my mind it’s as if he passed away, and only the memory is what I miss the most. The person he is now is not the person I miss being around. Like I said, it’s as if he passed away months ago.
It was stupid of me to tap into that part of my mind and heart, but as I previously stated it was a mere attempt to see what type of damage would be done and also to see how I still felt. I suppose it was necessary. Long gone now, but like all memories, it comes and it shortly goes. Farewell, thoughts. It was nice to see you for a quick moment, but I’m not sorry that you’re leaving.

Don’t you just love those? Where you’re sitting with your best friend and then one comment can lead to the both of you laughing hysterically. Regardless of how stupid the joke or statement was. You guys try to stop, but that just leads you guys to laugh even more. Then when you guys finally get over it and calm down, you guys look at each other and just start laughing all over again.
